Use this tool to find resources for an interior design education that will take you to the next level of success in your interior design career. Your head is probably swmming with your own interior design ideas, and you may even have purchased interior design software, but now you want to add to your education so that you can land great interior design jobs, either for office interior design, or home interior design, or even the emerging fields of garage interior design, salon interior design, spa interior design, and even church interior design! Also look around for current job openings in interior design, but if you haven't had the training you think you need, you should look into good interior design schools (make sure you see how students rate these interior design schools, and what kind of work people are doing after they graduate). Also be sure to check out any interior design magazine you find, just to stimulate ideas and see what interiors other designers have come up with. Of course we're blessed to have so many design shows now available on several of the popular design channels on cable tv. Some of their results are inspirational, and frankly, others make you wish the designer spent some time checking out interior design colleges themselves! Despite your online research, there is no substitute for getting to know some interior designers personally, and picking their brains about the process they use for design, pick up any interior design tips, and find out how to get organized and find your first all important clients. Since the field is highly competitive, it's important to keep up on technology and tools, too to set your design skills apart during your presentation. Another suggestion is to intern or work for a successful, and non-stagnate, interior design firm. That will give you an inside scoop on the business end of the interior design, and help you weigh your options on whether you want to stick with design only, or if you also want your foot in the whole business management end of a interior design firm or consultancy. Above all else, have fun, and keep doing it until it isn't fun and rewarding anymore! A little bit of intense research today into great interior design resources could provide you with everything you need to get started, and give you a leg up as one of the most important up and coming interior designers in the world.... or help you decide you want to do something else, before you follow the wrong dream. Stay in your lane, and enjoy the journey! ~ Tasha Kidd
